Mansfield District Hospital

Physiotherapy

A diverse range of physiotherapy is available at Mansfield District Hospital. In-patients are seen each day whilst out patient sessions are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program runs continuously with two exercise sessions and one education session per week. A full program takes six and a half weeks.

Buckland House Nursing Home and Bindaree Retirement Centre have regular visits from the Physiotherapist. Each resident is assessed and an appropriate treatment program is discussed. This is reviewed at a maximum of three months or sooner if required.

The Physiotherapist is responsible for the loan equipment store which provides equipment for short term loan for both hospital patients and community members.
