Buckland House Nursing Home

Buckland House Nursing Home is a high care residential aged care facility comprising 30 beds. It is attached to the Mansfield District Hospital by a walk way, providing immediate access to facilities such as X-ray and emergency services.

The Home has 12 two bed rooms and 6 single rooms. All bedrooms have en suite facilities and the Home has a communal spa bathroom. The Home has a large dining area and 3 sitting rooms plus beautiful gardens comprising of an inner courtyard garden (that is warm in winter and cool in summer) and a magnificent cottage garden (maintained by the local gardening club).

Resident care needs vary and range from high to very high. Only people with a high level Aged Care Assessment can be admitted to Buckland House for respite or permanent care.

Buckland House is staffed 24/7 by a dedicated team of division I & II registered nurses. A support team of activity staff, including a qualified diversional therapist, provide a range of resident activities that complement the direct care needs of residents.
